The Envirothon is an environmental competition for high school students in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
It is based on five subject areas: Aquatics,Forestry, Soils, Wildlife, and the Current Issue - which changes annually.
The winning team from each county will move on to participate in the NYS Envirothon, and each member of the winning team from Nassau County and Suffolk County will receive a scholarship of $500!
This year's current issue is "Roots and Resiliency: Fostering Forest Stewardship in a Canopy of Change"

If your organization only donates to 501(c)3 organizations, please make a check out to the Environmental Education Fund (both forms are tax deductble) to the Long Island Regional Envirothon for the amount donated.
